Buíochas: On this Easter day we gather to celebrate Resurrection. He is Risen Alleluia. As we do so, we pause to look back at the sacred journey of Holy Week that has brought us now to the glory of resurrection. Starting with the Blessing of Palm last Sunday, our thanks to those who supplied the palm, to the beautiful ceremony
Good Friday is day of fast and abstinence. No Mass is celebrated on this day but tradition shows that Christians gather at 3pm on Good Friday and recall the Passion of Jesus. This ceremony will take place in St Mary’s Church, Quin at 3pm.
Stations of the Cross will be prayed at 7pm in St Stephen’s Church Maghera.

Trócaire: The hardest part of the Trócaire Lenten campaign is to get the Trócaire box from the kitchen table to the church. We ask you to return your Trócaire Lenten contribution as soon as possible so that we may pass it on to those most in need. Thanks to all who have done so already.
Each year some people sponsor a sick or assisted pilgrim to make their wish of travelling to Lourdes become a reality. The cost €890 per pilgrim. To sponsor or part sponsor a pilgrim, please contact Fr. Tom Ryan, Pilgrimage Director (087) 2349816
Bishop Fintan will lead both our Diocesan Summer and Autumn pilgrimages this year. Wednesday 24th to Monday 29th June cost €990 pps, and Monday 28th September to Saturday 3rd October cost €960 pps. Our annual Trócaire Lenten Campaign begins this Wednesday. You are invited during Lent with the tools of prayer, fasting and alms giving to reach out to those who are poor and most in need. Trócaire boxes are available in all our Churches.
Eucharistic Adoration every Thursday in St Mary’s Church Quin 12noon to 4pm. All welcome to come & spend some quiet time in the presence of Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament
