Dr Eileen Hassett

The death has occurred of Dr. Eileen Hassett (née O’Neill), Ballyhannon House, Quin Co. Clare. Eileen passed away peacefully at Carrigoran Nursing Home. Predeceased by her husband John L. (January 2022) and their son Paddy (2011). Much loved mother of Margaret, Mary, Eileen,Úna and Johnny. Deeply regretted by her brother Paddy, sister Anne, brothers-in-law James, Paddy and Frank Hassett, John Rooney, sisters-in-law Peg and Úna, her adored grandchildren, nieces, nephews and the extended Hassett and O’Neill families, neighbours and wide circle of friends.

Reposing at her daughter Úna’s residence in Ballyhannon (V95 VA48) on Tuesday, 1st March, from 4pm to 7pm. Eileen will also Repose in the Abbey Room of Quin Community Hall on Wednesday morning from 10am to12 noon. Requiem Mass on Wednesday, 2nd March, at 12.30pm in St Mary’s Church, Quin.
