Next weekend we begin a four week preparation for the feast of Christmas. The Advent season gives us the opportunity to have a spiritual preparation for the feast of Christmas.

CHY Forms:

Annual Carol Service
The Abbey Pastoral Area will be hosting the annual Carol service in the Cathedral on Sunday 15th December at
7pm and the Reconciliation Service with the opportunity for individual confession on Monday 16th December at
7.30pm in the Cathedral.
Pastoral Council
The Pastoral Council met in the past weeks and is preparing for the Advent /Christmas season.

Priests In service Training
Priests from the Diocese will attend their annual in service training and renewal in Loughrea from this Sunday to Wednesday. Please keep the Priests and Diocese in your prayers at this time. Our thanks to our retired priests Fr John Bane and Fr Anthony Mulvihill who will celebrate daily Mass during these days.
Prayer for Vocations :
We have three students studying for the priesthood for the Diocese of Killaloe at the present time. Please pray each day for John, Brian and Mark and all others who are answering the call to ministry in our diocese. We have a number of lay people currently discerning a call to respond to ministry , please pray for them.

Welcome to Fr Jibin
The latest Indian Priest to arrive in the Killaloe Diocese has been appointed to the Abbey Pastoral Area and will reside in the Cathedral House Ennis. Fr Jibin Jose PMI is a Missionary of Incarnation from Kerala and was ordained in 2019. After ordination he worked in parish ministry before undergoing studies in media and Communications. He arrived in Ireland
