Harvest Mass

For the first time since the pandemic, the Harvest Mass will return this autumn. It is the opportunity for the parish community to give thanks for the harvest which sustains us all throughout the year and to pray that with climate change happening we will continue to be able to provide for what we need in order to live , especially the fruit of the earth and the work of human hands. It is an opportunity to pray with our farming community and to support each other. Bishop Fintan will celebrate the Harvest Mass on Saturday 5th October at 7pm in St Stephen’s Church Maghera . Please note that on that weekend there will be no 7pm Mass in Clooney. Mass will be celebrated in Clooney on Sunday 6th October at 9.30am instead of Maghera.
