Holy Week Ceremonies: Palm Sunday 13th April: Palm will be blessed at all masses.

Monday 14th April Abbey Pastoral Area Penitential Service in the Cathedral at 7.30pm with the opportunity for individual confession.

Spy Wednesday 16th April Mass of Chrism and the blessing of the Holy Oils. This Diocesan Mass takes place this year in St Brendan’s Church Birr, which is celebrating 200 years of worship.

Holy Thursday 17th April Mass of the Lord’s Supper at 7pm in St John XX111 Church Clooney.

Good Friday 18th April, a day of Fast and abstinence. Celebration of the Lord’s Passion at 3pm in St Mary’s Church Quin. 7pm Stations of the Cross in St Stephen’s Church Maghera.

Holy Saturday 19th April. Easter Vigil at 7pm in St John XX111 Church Clooney.

Easter Sunday 20th April Dawn Mass at 6am in the Quay Clarecastle. Morning Masses at 9.30am in St Stephen’s Church Maghera & 11am St Mary’s Church Quin
